Grenada Inland Revenue Division

The Inland Revenue Division (IRD) is a division within the Ministry of Finance (MoF). It is responsible for the administration of Inland Revenue laws and the collection of a wide range of taxes and licenses. These include:

  • Assessment and collection of personal income, corporate, general consumption, stamp and other taxes
  • Collection of fees for vehicle, telecommunication, and other licences and registration
  • Registration of businesses for tax purposes
  • Valuation and assessment of properties
  • Assessment of the property transfer tax

Excise Tax

What is Excise Tax?
Excise tax is a tax imposed on the importation or manufacturing of an excisable good.
 
When must my return and/or payment reach Inland Revenue Division?
All returns must be received by Inland Revenue Division no later than the twentieth (20th) day of the following tax period. For example, if you are filing for the tax period in February, your return must reach Inland Revenue Division  by no later than March 20th to avoid penalties for late filing and/or late payment.
